Helen is a commercial and governance lawyer with 15+ years’ experience in corporate law, M&A, joint ventures, and LLPs, with a focus on decarbonisation and sustainable energy strategies.
She began her career at Osborne Clarke, advising clients on complex corporate transactions, before joining Bristol City Council in 2018 as Commercial & Governance Lawyer. There, she led the legal team for Bristol City Leap, establishing the city’s first large-scale low-carbon energy partnership and overseeing joint venture formation, procurement, and asset transfer.
Promoted to Head of City Leap Client and Energy Service, Helen designed governance frameworks, led the client team, and coordinated strategic delivery across district heat and low-carbon networks. She joined edenseven in 2025 as a Consultant, advising on first-of-a-kind decarbonisation projects and sustainable energy solutions.
